Bob Newhart poses in place like a statue during a funny moment with Ben Stiller on stage at the 2019 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 22) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
The 90-year-old actor appeared on stage to remind Ben that he is still alive after the Escape at Dannenmora director reflected on comedy icons Lucille Ball and George Burns.
Ben appeared next to statues of the late actors and when he walked up to what appeared to be a statue of Bob, the legend spoke up.
“Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben. I’m still alive,” he said in his famous deadpan style.
“This legend is gonna kick your ass,” he added. “That way you’ll know I’m alive.”
FYI: Ben is wearing Prada, and a Montblanc watch and cufflinks.
